Dodge Dart [Graphite][A2]

Originally for Chrysler's "Inspired by you" contest.

Size: Roughly A2, precisely 23.4" x 16.5"
Paper: Bristol board
Medium: Graphite (2B-6B + Ebony jetBlack pencils) and pastel.

I was up all night drawing this from start to finish till the morning.

When I was reading the contest rules, I was glad to see realism mentioned there, because abstract entries are considered more creative than a realistic drawing so I was worried.

I mirrored the source photo, tweaked it, lightened it then drew it with a touch of reddish color.
I couldn't get a better photo as I only had 2 hours to sleep before work. As I'm (partially) colorblind I can only hope the red in it is not messed up!

Btw, at 5am I thought the text would mean "OF art" in French, but of course I forgot the use of article...
I wanted an elegant and sexy look for the car and the text would match it.
