I wanted a composition consisting something of everyday use and something to do with my country, Hungary.
So I took my wee bottle of Pálinka and took shots, and decided to use this one as the reference photo.
The shot itself was made in black and white, and the scene is backlit by natural light from the window.

I wanted shallow depth of field, so that the label is crystal clear and the motifs of the keyring, too, but so that the background would get blurred very quickly.

Pálinka is a type of double-distilled fruit brandy, specialty of my country (and famous, too, as far as I know). This one is classic plum pálinka, but they make it from peaches, apricot etc, too.
The alcohol content is very high in pálinka, up to 60-70%, therefore you drink it as a shot. This one is a mere 40%, but I wanted to use this one because of its bilingual label (I assume it was made for tourists etc.)

p.s. "Magyar termék" just means the text underneath it, except literally "Hungarian product" - with "magyar" meaning Hungarian.
